Center of the Universe - the entrance world of the whole Virtual Universe program package; see also Universe

Components - the Virtual Universe software uses a hierarchically concept: it offers a base construct with different, on client-side seamless integrated ~ ; this hierarchy owns following structure: Context - see Context menu
Context Menu - typically a popup menu which offers functionality related to the context it was opened in
Conversion Software - a software which is able to change data and to modify their structure so that they can be used e.g. from within an other software; a 3D ~ can be used to convert 3D files to a format, which can be used within the Virtual Universe

Directional Light - a special Virtual Worlds object type used for lighting purposes

Emoticon - a shorthand version of expressing moods used on the internet and together with certain behavioral rules; the shorthand for these moods uses standard keyboard symbols and they are known as ~ aka 'smileys'

Planet - visitable leaf node of the hierarchy in the "Navigation" panel, often also named as world; a planet can be part of different components of the Virtual Universe package

Point Light - a special Virtual Worlds object type used for lighting purposes; please also see pointlight

pointlight - a Virtual Worlds object command; please also see Point Light

Popup menu - a menu which opens after right clicking at a position such a menu was defined for; typically a ~ works only in context with this location (e.g. the item of a list which was selected before)

Virtual Worlds - a component of the Virtual Universe which allows communication and interaction between users, building of own houses and worlds and much more

World - a common name for a location in the Virtual Universe, it can specify the Center of the Universe or a planet

Wireframe Model - a special representation of a 3D object; different to the normal one it doesnt looks solid because all polygons the object consists of are filled, only the border lines of these polygons are drawn
