Virtual Universe
Overview
Virtual Universe is a more or less abstract name for the whole concept of virtual reality software. It covers not
only the different components like the Virtual Worlds package but also the idea behind it:
to offer people a virtual place to meat each other, play games, interact, be creative, ...
From the client softwares point of view all the possible components of the Virtual Universe come with one
installation package. That means, you have to install only one software to get everything.
The differentiation between the parts is done later, inside the software. Here you decide to use a component simply by
entering a special world.
Please note: Until now only one virtual reality component, the Virtual Worlds package is
available. More will follow soon.
